Illustrating my Jerusha I’m thinking of one teacher who taught me the valuable lesson that good stories, are tailored from minor, ordinary facts combined together in a unique way; small insignificant details that write the story and make it yours:

The way you sometimes let your hair grow wild, the way you drag your feet when you walk; the way you sit by the desk with one of your legs folded under, dive obsessively into a subject and make that swoosh sound with your lips while hitting difficulty.
Cause no body but you would stop everything to watch something silly or funny at any given moment, and no one else will have this shadow run over his face and disappear the way you do.
