rosh hashana wishes

Dirty mist covers the sky – not a very festive look for the approaching New Year.
I wake up with the taste of sand in my mouth and reach for my glass of water.

I think ‘new years’ are a great invention. They give us a chance to start over, to improve, to enjoy the illusion of tabula rasa, to have faith in a better tomorrow, something I feel we all need – especially here in crazy-land.

I don’t want big words this year – like ‘goals’, ‘achievements’, or ’dare to dream big’ – they all feel like a big load of BS to me.

So what do I wish for this new year? What would I like to draw on this clean page I’ve been given?

the most basic:

silence

truth

simplicity

simple calming clarity –

like water …
